OFFICE EXTENSION IN STOCKPORT

Our client appointed us to provide designs to extend an existing 3 storey office building in Stockport. The company wished to double the size of the existing office space and create a dedicated entrance with reception. Being a town centre location, space was tight and careful consideration was needed with regards to retaining parking.

 

Being a commercial building, carefule consideration was given  to Building Regulations at an early stage. This meant ensuring things like the fire regulations were thoroughly assessed and disabled access and associated facilities were considered into the design. Dealing with these early on ensured the layout worked from an early stage.

 

After presenting our client with two design options, we revised the scheme and submitted for planning permission. The planners were happy with the scheme and granted planning within the allotted 8 weeks, and the build is currently on site now.
